Scratch Ticket Trading Prices
Below is a general formula used to calculate ticket values which you
may find helpful when trading tickets. For tickets trades with
other items, eg. phone cards,
stamps or any other collectable with a value, an equal trade,
eg. $1 worth of tickets for $1 worth of phone cards, can be calculated.
Note: Some tickets may be
worth more or less in some occasions
-
Cost
of ticket, Divided by 100, Times by
years since on sale.
-
EXAMPLE: If it's
the year 2008 and you have a 1990 $10 ticket that makes:
$10 / 100 = $0.10, X 18 years = $1.80
-
EXAMPLE: If it's
the year 2008 and you have a 2006 $1 ticket that makes:
$1 / 100 = $0.01, X 2 years, = $0.02
-
Add 20% to value for Sample/Void
