Comments:
The earth crossed in between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun's light. A pic was taken approx every 15 minutes and with a pair of sunglasses over the lenes to counter the moons brightness. To the naked eye the moon turned red - it didn't disappear like this, nut you couldn't see a defined shadow like these images show. Click here to see how it looked to the naked eye.
