Every 1 Hour Session includes:

LIVE ANIMALS* and PRESERVED ANIMALS, CHARTS

*Where appropriate, live animals are included. Andrew does not bring live native mammals due to the stress it would place on the mainly nocturnal animals during transportation and when being handled. It also avoids the risk of injuries (scratches and bites) to the students.

INFORMATIVE DISPLAY & DISCUSSION

‘HANDS ON’ TIME - the students are encouraged to closely look at and handle the animals.

FOLLOW-UP’ ACTIVITIES - activity sheets that consolidate information and concepts and stimulate interest for further research about the topic and related issues, are given to teachers after each session. Poster sets, activity books and jig-saws are also available for purchase.
